This is a great class to share with kids of all ages as we recreate some of the most iconic candies of all-time. It might be hard to find penny candy in the supermarket, but with this class, you’ll learn how to make them right in your kitchen.

From Candy Dots to Pop Rocks to the summertime candy that reminds us of trips to the beach, this class will take you back in time for a taste of sweet nostalgia.

I’ll show you everything you need to make five classic candies: the proper way to use a candy thermometer, how to use candy molds, where you can improvise and even how to recreate your favorite flavors.

Ready to make some homemade Caramel Chocolate candies? You don’t need much for these. Pick up a chocolate mold at your favorite hobby store, then it’s just a matter of melting some chocolate, adding your filling, and trying to be patient so they can set before you indulge!

Start by coating the bottom of your chocolate mold with melted chocolate, and be sure to coat the bottom layer and the sides of each section. Put that in the freezer for about 5 or 10 minutes. While that’s cooling, melt your white chocolate and stir in your caramel.

Remove the chocolate mold from the freezer and fill your chocolates with the white chocolate/caramel mix. Then put that back in the freezer. Once that sets, top each candy with more melted chocolate, and, you guessed it! Back in the freezer for about 5 minutes.

When they’re ready, pop the chocolates out of the mold, and you have a filled chocolate! Join the class to see all the techniques, tips, and inspiration you need to start making these crowd-pleasers right away!
