Irish Soda Bread

  • 1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon honey


  1. Preheat the oven to 375° and lightly coat a loaf pan with cooking spray.
  2. Combine the flours and baking soda in the bowl of a stand mixer with a dough hook attached.
  3. Add the almond milk, chocolate chips, egg, and honey.
  4. Stir until a sticky dough forms that you can turn into a ball.
  5. Place in the loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Slice and serve.
