Spaghetti Carbonara

  • 1 (16-ounce) package spaghetti
  • 10 strips microwaveable bacon
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen green peas
  • ¼ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil over high heat. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, cook the bacon in the microwave, according to package instructions.
  3. When pasta is cooked and drained, immediately add the peas, butter, and cheese. Add the bacon and season with pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Serve.
